J-Chiptunator here! Playing and making fun of games from NES all the way up to modern consoles a few times a week, composing chiptunes with emulated and/or real hardware from 80s and 90s, and making games. Throw in some French accent for good measures. My gaming enthusiasm all began back in the late 90s when my mother brought the Super Nintendo Entertainment System console for my initially disinterested sister. She first went with Mario Paint and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, but then I noticed the latter plugged into the console, powered it on and grabbed the controller on my own. From there, it kept on rising and rising, eventually to the point of getting into game development. After having the high-speed Internet replacing the inefficient dial-up one in 2009, I suddenly discovered a lot of what the Internet has to offer, including endlessly listening to retro video game musics. Then remixes and covers of said games using the audio chips from various consoles, which finally led me to toy with LSDJ in 2021 and produce chiptunes.
